Words cannot describe the sadness we are feeling as we discover Nicholas has passed. We remember his smile and gentle disposition. We will miss him always but he will forever be in our hearts and spirits. We appreciate finding Nicholas’ remains so we can properly say goodbye to this wonderful young man. Aunt Marian, Dad, please watch over Nicholas and help us to be better people here on earth.

It has been over seven months since Nicholas went missing. There have been many ups and downs in the search for Nicholas and so far, we still do not know where he is.
The St Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper did an article on Nicholas as did some of the local St Charles and St Louis County newspapers. The Mizzou campus newspaper has done an update on their original story. Vox Magazine did a very good story at a more personal level and we hope to be able to get more exposure on the national media.
There have been no confirmed sightings, but there are many family members and friends working continuously on finding our son. Every time we speak to someone about Nicholas, they offer their help in our search. It is heart warming and uplifting to have so many willing to step forward. It helps to keep this search going.
We are very appreciative of everything being done in order to find Nicholas.
We are not giving up and pray that Nicholas is safe and happy and will contact us. There are many friends and loved ones who want to hear his voice. A confirmed phone call would lift the burden on our hearts that so many of us must live with on a daily basis. Please keep searching and communicating – with prayer and hope we will hear from Nick.
Thank you again,
Gene and Nellie Coppola
